Mike Maignan is a key player for AC Milan and although his contract is valid until 2026, recent reports suggested that he could consider an exit. However, the goalkeeper himself has shut this down.
Yesterday morning, L’Equipe reported (read here) that Maignan is unsure of his own future after the sacking of Paolo Maldini. A report that, however, wasn’t confirmed by Italian media.
On his Instagram, Maignan has seemingly addressed the matter by publishing a highlights reel of himself along with the caption: “AC Milan ❤🖤”. In any case, Milan have never had any intention to sell him.

From the beginning I know Theo-Man Utd rumor was fake. Man Utd don’t have LB issue, their issue are GK, CB, RB, and ST.
Very simple, those who love Milan will stay with Milan, those who came because of their respect toward Maldini will stay because they do not want Maldini’s work to crumble because they leave.

first keeper. Plays in CL and will fight for another title and cup next season. And a pay rasie is on the horizon. And lives in a great city

Maignan earns only 2.5m.
Most players believed in the project that Maldini projected them.
Now there is not the same ownership and Maldini also sacked.
They dont have à person who justifiés that justifiés they are in same project when they renewed or signed.
Maignan will surely not renew his contract, if he feels that project is not Same or better than he will try to leave for free or 1year before contract but not now by giving them big fée.

Man Utd is in the middle of takeover, they can’t just use a huge portion of budget for GK, they had other positions they need to upgrade. It is unlikely they will spend more than 40m for GK.
If Maldini got Mike to Milan doesnt Maldini then wish for Mike to continue with Milan until he retires. Isnt leaving Milan the opposite what Maldini wanted from Mike and by leaving Milan Mike is betraying Maldini?
And Mike isnt about the money, like I said a raise in coming anyway…

Well, whether anyone agrees or not; the onus is on the new management to win over the fanbase. The fans are divided and without fans, it’s a one-way highway down south.
Since, transfer window is not officially opened, let’s just ignore all the click baits. By mid July, we should be able to tell what the new management has in store.
