Davide Calabria finished the season with pain, despite the success of the team, as he postponed a hernia operation. It has now been completed and the right-back will be out for about six weeks.
Calabria has been one of the Rossoneri’s best player this season and certainly bounced back from what was a disappointing 19/20 campaign. It becomes even more impressive knowing that the right-back played the last few months in pain.
In fact, he was forced to a hernia operation after the season and he confirmed that it all went well in a Twitter post. Milan responded to the tweet and sent a nice message to their academy product: “A true warrior. Have a good recovery”.
Un vero guerriero, buona guarigione 👍🔴⚫
