Photos: Average positions of each starting Milan player in the last three games

By Isak Möller -

After the 1-1 disappointment against Udinese, AC Milan followed it up with three wins in the league and the draw against Inter in the Coppa Italia. In other words, they can afford to relax a bit during the international break.

The Rossoneri have certainly hit form and it’s just the right timing, seeing as the Scudetto race is coming to an end. Just eight games remain and Stefano Pioli’s men are currently three points ahead of Napoli, as well as six points ahead of Inter.

In the last three games, the biggest surprise was Pierre Kalulu and Pioli was quite consistent in his selection (excluding suspensions etc). Down below, you can see the average position of each starting player in those games.

Vs. Napoli

Vs. Empoli

Vs. Cagliari (*Leao missing for some reason)

  1. Pioli should start trying out 3-5-2 for next season, maybe in pre season friendlies

Back 3 out of Botman, Tomori, Kjaer and Kalulu
    Calabria, Theo on the wings,
    Midfield of Tonali, Bennacer, Adli/Pobega
    Giroud/Ibra and another striker
