AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek has had a prolific season which has continued into the summer on international duty.
The Polish player has scored twice in two games for his national team, and after the win over Israel on Monday he reflected on the season.
“It was an extraordinary season for me, in the next one I want to score even more goals,” he told sport.pl.
“I will do everything to better prepare for the games to come.”
Piatek has scored now scored 34 goals in 48 games for club and country in the 2018-2019 season.
It seems like the former Genoa man will be playing as part of a two-striker formation in 2019-20 though as Marco Giampaolo – who prefers a 4-3-1-2 system – is closing in on being the next head coach.
Another Milan striker has recently been linked with a move away from the club. For more information you can read here.
