AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli has not yet decided whether he will start with Charles De Ketelaere or Brahim Diaz behind the striker when the Rossoneri take on Inter in the Supercoppa Italiana final, a report claims.
As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, there are a number of selection decision yet to be taken by the coach as he heard his team up to try and win the first trophy on offer in the 2022/23 season.
As Scudetto winners, Milan are taking on current Coppa Italia champions Inter in Saudi Arabia on Wednesday night.
Pioli has been favouring the work of Diaz in the middle of the three attacking midfielders but in a bid to get the best out of the Belgian youngster, he could put faith in De Ketelaere from the start and keep Diaz fresh for the weekend.
With the team struggling for form, he may play it safe and start with Diaz.

Just start with CDK and let him “get used to the system”. Vasquez as well.

Pros and Cons. Cons if u start CDK it’s like playing a man down. So the Pro is that we can improve thereafter with a sub. The opposite would be the case. Either we put our best foot forward and then weaken the team by putting in CDK later on and hope for the best and also further damaging his confidence
Diaz coming off the bench against Inter has worked well in the past. I’d try that tomorrow too. Diaz is more useful when coming on to challenge tired defenders.
Iād imagine Brahim will start and Pioli will stick to his strongest team. CDK does need to get more minutes though and it needs to be more than 10 mins at the end of games.
Poli needs to have faith in CDK. Give him the confidence to start the match. Diaz should be relegated to substitute role in this 2nd half of season. Diaz belongs to Real Madrid.
Yeah CDK needs to adapt when to move in and when to move out just like messi to set defender off position to make way to the goalie.

He arrived in Milan with a lower transfer fee than CDK. That’s why CDK is a bigger priority to Milan. If you look at the performances there’s really no differences. Well, except that Adli has scored in friendlies and CDK is still firing blanks.
Brahim of course. Let’s not think about the distant future. Regarding Brahim’s future in Milan, CdK ‘s future chances, etc. Really don’t give a s**t whether Brahim belongs to Madrid, etc. As long as he performs better, he should play. Simple.
