AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli confirmed that Brahim Diaz has picked up a knee injury and faces a battle to be fit for the game against Spurs.
The majority of reports leading up to tomorrow’s game against Fiorentina at the Stadio Artemio Franchi suggested that Brahim would be rested in favour of Charles De Ketelaere who would thus be part of the attack to face La Viola.
Pioli spoke at his pre-match press conference this afternoon, with his comments relayed by MilanNews, and he was asked about the possibility of De Ketelaere playing which prompted an update on Brahim Diaz’s condition.
“In every game, every player must think about being decisive. Tomorrow Diaz will not be there due to a slight knee sprain, so tomorrow it will be Charles’ turn,” he said.

The Rossoneri face off against Spurs on Wednesday 8 March hoping to defend a one-goal lead from the first leg, a goal that the Spanish playmaker actually scored with a close range diving header.
Knee sprain? No way he’s ready for Spurs. I’m betting the midfield trio for Tottenham will be Tonali, Bennacer and Krunic. It may end up being for the best as it’s a beefier midfield and we’re protecting a lead.

Are you truly a MILAN fan? If yes, you have a long way to go because you can’t be calling CDK a useless player. We are all entitled to our opinions concerning a player but at same time should be mindful of our choice of words and how we address MILAN players.
Who would have thought Rafael Leao, Theo, Kalulu, Tomori, and even Thiaw amongst others would be the kind of players they are now?
CDK needs time regardless of his present contribution to the team besides he is not a loaned player just as Adli isn’t. Adli’s time will come and he will be used too, let Pioli decide.
I am also pained that Yacine Adli is not seeing play time because he deserves to be given an equal chance too.
