AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli believes his side have a ‘great opportunity’ and pledged that they will ‘do everything to take it’ against Sassuolo this evening.
A run of 8 clean sheets in the last 10 games and vital victories against the likes of Lazio, Hellas Verona and Atalanta has Stefano Pioli’s men within touching distance of what would be an incredible achievement given not many had Milan as favourites going into the campaign.
It will not be an easy game against Sassuolo however, who beat Milan 3-1 at San Siro earlier in the season in what was a game that thrust the title credentials into doubt, and they are also a free-scoring side who have only failed to score in 1 of the last 12 games.
