AC Milan prevailed in their clash against Lecce last night, and if you combine the ratings of the newpapers, Luka Modric was the MOTM.
It was necessary for Milan to bounce back after the defeat against Cremonese, and they managed to do so after goals from Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic. However, the player who meant the most – as we highlighted in our ratings – was Luka Modric.

The Croatian dictated the tempo of the game and made things happen for Milan, assisting the opener with a lovely cross into the box. He also got an assist for Matteo Gabbia but that goal was later disallowed for a push in the build-up. In any case, a great display from him.
Taking a look at the ratings from Gazzetta dello Sport and Corriere dello Sport (see photos below), Modric was the MOTM as he got 7 from both. The goalscorers also stood out, of course, while flop of the match shouts go to Pervis Estupinan, Fikayo Tomori and Santiago Gimenez.

I love Saladmeker, but he used to be one of the positions we can improve, not one of the past players on the field.
Am i the only one that doesnt think estupinan was horrible?
No he wasnt horrible. Everytime we lost the ball he ran back like a madman (nice change from Theos jogging back) and he was always playable on the left. Had some really good runs too for long balls from the back line.
He did lose the ball a few times rather clumsy and could have defended a little better but i thought he did okay.
He will get better too.
Pretty much. He’s like Emerson Royale on the Left so far. He tries but he’s just poor at it. Maybe he needs more time …
No you aren’t. He and Pavlo shut down the left side of the Lecce attack. He was defending and a good outlet. the 1H was average, but he certainly looked much more confidemt and assured in the 2H. I think the rating is a bit harsh. Expect him to get better and better.
