MN: Another outgoing expected for Milan as Plizzari closes on new loan spell

By Oliver Fisher -

It is a very busy day for AC Milan on the outgoings front as Alessandro Plizzari is also expected to leave the club before the window closes, a report claims.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, Plizzari could soon leave Milan because he has found his playing time limited by an operation on his shoulder first of all but having recovered his path is blocked by the more experienced Mike Maignan, Ciprian Tatarusanu and Antonio Mirante.

That is why the 21-year-old is heading towards a new loan spell with Lecce in Serie B because they need to replace their second goalkeeper Bleve who is out injured. Interestingly, this means that he would become the deputy of the former Rossoneri goalkeeper and and current starter Gabriel.

The news comes amid rumours that Milos Kerkez is set to join AZ Alkmaar on a permanent deal and Daniel Maldini is considering a loan switch to SPAL.

  1. Why would you send a young player to a worse league, team and facilities to be the backup goalkeeper? I can’t understand this move, if he went to actually play it would make sense.
