Rai journalist on Ibrahimovic: “His wife is house shopping in Milan”

By Oliver Fisher -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s wife is currently looking for a house in Milano ahead of a potential return to AC Milan, according to a journalist.

MLS commissioner Don Garber caused a stir on Thursday night when, in an interview with ESPN, he claimed that Ibrahimovic is ‘being recruited’ by the Rossoneri.

The vice-president of communications for the league – Dan Courtemanche – then denied that the Swede has formally signed for Milan, but earlier on Friday we revealed that Milan have held talks over a possible return for Zlatan.

Now, Paolo Paganini – a journalist for Rai Sport – spoke to the TMW network’s Radio regarding the future of the 38-year-old.

“The situation is quite clear with regards to Ibra: from what I know, his will, also through Raiola, is to end his career in Italy, possibly in a team that he participates in the Champions League, so Inter or Napoli,” Paganin said.

“It is also true that Milan is always open for him, also because I know that his wife is looking for a house in Milan. If on the one hand Milan needs experienced players, it is equally true that the Rossoneri – making important investments such as those for Piatek and Leao – cannot devalue their attackers.

“As of today, if you put Piatek on the market you certainly do not get the €35million spent to buy him from Genoa.”

It was claimed by Sky Italia earlier in the day though that Zlatan’s agent Mino Raiola has not been approached by Milan, and rather players aged 30-32 who currently play at a top club are the focus.
