Reliable journalist claims Milan star is ‘off the market’ amid PSG and Man Utd links

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan consider reported Manchester City, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain target Ismael Bennacer as ‘unsellable’, a report claims.

Friday’s edition of il Corriere dello Sport confirmed previous discretions from France claiming that PSG and Man City are strongly interested in signing Bennacer – with a €30million proposal from the Ligue 1 club already rejected.

According to French outlet Le10Sport, PSG are not letting up in their pursuit if the 22-year-old and have made a fresh bid to try and sign him worth around €40million.

French outlet RMC Sport (via Sportsmole) believe that Manchester United have registered interest in the Algeria international, while FootMercato are reporting that Real Madrid have become the latest team to join the race.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, there is indeed an exit clause in Bennacer’s contract but it is only valid starting in 2021, so it cannot be exercised this year.

However, the Algerian international is “considered off the market” as Milan consider him a “building block” because of his young age and fact he arrived for a relatively low transfer fee.
