AC Milan announced the renewal of head coach Stefano Pioli last night, with the new deadline being 2023 and there is an option for an additional. As a result of this, the manager can plan further ahead.
There’s no doubt that Pioli has done a tremendous job with Milan since he arrived in October of 2019, turning a very negative situation into a very good one. The renewal, therefore, was well-deserved and it will open some doors for the manager.
As pointed out by MilanNews, he will be able to work with even more serenity (although it wasn’t an issue before) and he will be able to make more plans for the future. One of the key players in the project is Sandro Tonali, who has impressed this season.
Compared to last season, he looks like a different player and he’s now also starting to show his qualities with Italy. In short, Tonali is at the centre of Pioli’s project and more plans will be made for the future, all to benefit the progress of Milan.
