Report: Chelsea-owned outcast offered to Roma as Milan are keen on exit

Tiemoue Bakayoko’s future has been a hot topic over the last few days, given that AC Milan are willing to cut his loan short. Indeed, the midfielder has not exactly impressed with the Rossoneri.

The Frenchman arrived on a two-year loan from Chelsea last summer and although the expectations weren’t high, a certain standard was expected from him. His first season ended up being a disappointment, though, as he played very little.

As a result of vacation and other factors, Bakayoko has been given the chance in the first two friendlies this pre-season. Last time out, against Köln, he played a good chunk in the midfield tandem but once again, he didn’t impress.

According to Il Tempo, as cited by Calciomercato.com, Milan are more than willing to cut his loan short and send him back to Chelsea. Bakayoko has been offered to fellow Serie A side Roma, who recently announced the signing of Paulo Dybala. It remains to be seen what their response will be.
