Fiorentina are back on the trail of AC Milan’s Suso, according to a report, amid speculation that the winger will be allowed to leave this month.
Suso’s future with the Rossoneri appears to be drawing to a close – at least if reports in recent days are to be believed – with the Spaniard struggling for form and having lost his spot in the starting XI.
There has been rumours of interest from Spain, but SportMediaset claimed earlier on Wednesday that RB Leipzig are the most concrete option at present with a €20m bid having been placed.
Fiorentina first emerged as a surprise potential suitor for Suso during the summer, though it was reported that La Viola were focusing on other targets and were unlikely to pay the €35m+ asking price at the time.
According to the latest from the Corriere Fiorentina though – as cited by MilanNews.it – they are still interested in the idea of signing the former Liverpool man.
The outlet claims that Fiorentina’s first target in this January market remains Alfred Duncan of Sassuolo, a reported €20m target for Milan, but Suso’s name is back in fashion and could be the ‘big surprise’ of the mercato in Florence.
After all, Milan are ready to sell it and the player wishes to change scenery.
