Report gives update on rumour Chelsea are in talks over €50m-rated Milan star

Over the years, Gigio Donnarumma has been the subject of several transfer rumours, seeing as he is one of the best goalkeepers in the world. Furthermore, his contract situation has fueled the media.

The 21-year-old’s contract will expire next year and now that Zlatan Ibrahimovic has reached an agreement with Milan, the latter will presumably open talks with Mino Raiola over Donnarumma. In fact, this is a must for the Rossoneri.

Recently, a report suggested that Chelsea are interested in signing Donnarumma. However, on his Twitter page late last night, the reliable Vito Angele has denied the rumour by stating that there are ‘no confirmations’ on Chelsea’s offer.

In other words, Donnarumma is destined to remain at Milan and build on his role as a very important player. Despite his young age, he has already made over 200 appearances for the club, which just goes to show how good of a player he is.
