Report: Milan midfielder could sign with Roma in the coming weeks

Jack Bonaventura’s contract with AC Milan will expire in the summer and even though he has been an important player in recent years, the Rossoneri have no intention of renewing it. Therefore, the 30-year-old will leave after this season.

As reported by Corriere di Bergamo, as cited by LaRoma24.it, the midfielder is getting closer to Roma. The Coronavirus crisis has affected the balance sheet of the Giallorossi, who are now looking for cost-effective solutions on the market.

Milan have already informed Bonaventura that his contract won’t be renewed, forcing his agent Mino Raiola to look elsewhere. In addition to Roma, the likes of Atalanta and Torino are also interested, though now behind the capital club.

In fact, according to the newspaper, the Rossoneri No.5 could sign a contract with Roma as early as in the coming weeks. Six years after joining the club, therefore, Bonaventura’s adventure at Milan is coming to an end.
