AC Milan are currently in talks with both Lazar Samardzic’s entourage and Udinese over a transfer this summer. However, after the progress seemed promising at the start, the negotiations have now hit a stalemate according to a report.
Paulo Fonseca has been working with his squad for a few weeks now and one of the takeaways seems to be that Ruben Loftus-Cheek should primarily play in midfield. As such, Milan have also been linked with signing a new No.10, namely Samardzic of Udinese.
However, as reported by Il Messaggero (via MilanNews), Udinese have rejected both of Milan’s counterpart options so far: first Tommaso Pobega then Yacine Adli. To get the deal over the skin, therefore, the Rossoneri would have to pay the full €25m (€20m base, €5m in bonuses).
Based on other negotiations this summer, Milan are probably reluctant to do that and it remains to be seen if the negotiations can be unlocked. Perhaps a departure of Adli or Pobega to another club would free up enough cash and space for the Rossoneri to satisfy Udinese.
In the meantime, Milan are focused on the friendly against Manchester City tonight and Loftus-Cheek is likely to occupy the No.10 role.

I think you will find that it will s not so much the player thing in that they prefer cash n order to get the players they have in there plans.
We do have a great squad we just need 3-4 more quality players to make us even stronger, the 4 for me are:
Broja, Samardzic, Fofana and Pavlovic.
You add these 4 to what we have and you looking at a top draw team in serie A and champions league

And that’s the reason he was brought in the first place – if it was some top level coach he would have already demanded the players publicly. I don’t understand why every time we take so long to get in our targets. Every day it seems I am just reading the same news, with different headlines. Milan transfers are frustrating, even for the fans. We lost too many good targets in the past – Dybala, Alvarez, Enzo, etc, because we wasted too much time, and priced too low. The season starts next month, and, we are still haggling over average players like Emerson. We have the opportunity of signing quality players like Fofana, Lazar, and, we’re still doing the same thing. When we lose them, we start making excuses as if the alternatives are better. No one is saying that they should be reckless in spending, but, it doesn’t have to be this way all the time.
Management is smart, they will play waiting game.
