Report: Verona want more than a dry loan for Daniel Maldini – the solution

By Isak Möller -

Hellas Verona have been linked with Daniel Maldini over the last week or so and it seems that a move is close. However, it might not just be a dry loan for the attacking midfielder, a report claims.

Maldini Jr managed to find the back of the net once for Milan this past season, which wasn’t too shabby given the lack of playing time. In order to continue his development, therefore, a loan move is on the cards.

According to Corriere di Verona (via MilanNews), Hellas Verona are in talks with Milan over the move and it might not be just a dry loan. The Bentegodi side want to include a buy-out clause in the deal and Milan could agree to this, as long as there is a buy-back as well.

With this formula, Verona would have a further incentive to give Maldini playing time as a successful season could at least give them some profit. That is because the buy-out option would be lower than the buy-back, as you would expect.
