On the eve of the clash between Milan and Fiorentina, new reports have arrived regarding the starting eleven that Stefano Pioli will field. Ismael Bennacer, the midfield success, will miss the game due to a minor injury.
According to Sky Italia, as cited by MilanNews.it, Bennacer didn’t take part in today’s training session at Milanello due to an adductor issue. He will, by the looks of it, miss tomorrow’s clash against Fiorentina.
Daniele Longo adds that the Algerian had an individual training session instead, as the injury isn’t anything serious. He should still miss the game tomorrow, though, which means that Sandro Tonali will step up again.
Considering how important Bennacer has been this season, it’s a blow for the Rossoneri but at the same time, Tonali is a great replacement. The youngster needs more playing time to adapt and this is a perfect opportunity for him.
