AC Milan are pushing to sign Lyon forward Memphis Depay following a meeting with his agency, reports claim.
On Wednesday, several outlets reported that the Rossoneri had held talks with Dutch agency Sports Entertainment Group [SEG] at Casa Milan.
Calciomercato.com mentioned Depay and Brugge winger Arnaut Groeneveld in particular as two players Milan may be taking an interest in.
Now, Mediaset are stating that Milan have stepped up their pursuit of the former, as his agent informed the club that Depay intends to leave Lyon this summer.
The Ligue 1 side are apparently asking for €40m, but negotiations could start at €30m plus bonuses.
The former Manchester United man can play both as a winger and a striker, meaning he could be deployed up front next season in Marco Giampaolo’s 4-3-1-2 formation.
