Pescara leaders asked about the potential of signing five young AC Milan players in a meeting on Wednesday, reports claim.
Pescara president Daniele Sebastiani – accompanied by director Antonio Bocchetti – was present at Casa Milan to discuss a number of potential targets.
Three players were discussed at length according to Gianluca Di Marzio, namely Matteo Gabbia, Alessandro Sala and Tommaso Pobega.
The latter is believed to be a target for next summer as Pobega has already completed a move to Pordenone on loan with option to buy (Milan have a buy-back clause inserted).
Meanwhile, Sportitalia‘s Alfredo Pedulla claims that Matteo Gabbia was discussed, however after a number of impressive displays in preseason Pescara were told that he is not available on any bases.
Finally, La Gazzetta dello Sport‘s Nicolo Schira claims that Daniel Maldini was also talked about, but the Rossoneri told the Serie B side he is not on the market.
The plan for Maldini Jr. is for him to spend time growing in the Primavera before hopefully making the jump to training and – eventually – playing in the first team.
