Samu Castillejo is on his way out of AC Milan after getting very little playing time in the first half of the season. However, offloading the winger is proving to be a bit more difficult than first expected for the Rossoneri.
Castillejo has played just 122 minutes for Milan this season and it’s not exactly hard to understand why a move is on the cards. However, it’s been far from straightforward thus far for the Rossoneri in their pursuit.
As reported by Tuttosport this morning (via MilanNews), the winger’s move to Valencia is currently blocked and the Spanish side appear to have taken a step back. The final day of the window, deadline day, will be decisive for the potential move.
Calciomercato.com add that Castillejo wants a move back to Spain, but also that he hasn’t responded to the interest of Valencia. He’s taking time to evaluate his options and that’s time that Milan perhaps don’t have right now.

Good luck Samu! I hope you’ll find your home one day. We will always remember the day you saved us from Verona.
Stop sending him wishes. He does not deserve any of that because he is not leaving.
Dude is not a sportsman, he doesnt wanna leave as other teams wont pay him as much as he gets here to sit on the bench. Or rather outside the team
And he gets fans for it lol
