Milan are looking for a striker on the market as they won’t be able to rely on Zlatan Ibrahimovic forever. The 2021/22 season could be the Swede’s last in his career and the Rossoneri thus need a solution for the future.
As reported by today’s edition of La Repubblica (via MilanNews), Milan are keeping tabs on Torino striker Andrea Belotti, as well as Dusan Vlahovic of Fiorentina. By signing the latter, the Rossoneri could spark a domino effect.
Should they sell Vlahovic, then Fiorentina will make a move for Belotti, whose contract with Torino will expire in 2022. As things stand, without the renewal, his price tag is set at €30m as per the report. That’s why Milan are monitoring him as well.
Fiorentina might be inclined to cash in on Vlahovic, in other words, knowing that they will be able to sign a replacement at a good price. Having said that, anything can happen in the summer and Milan’s priorities could change as well.
