Dusan Vlahovic remains one of AC Milan’s targets for the attack and according to a report, the Rossoneri are preparing a first official offer worth around €18m.
After parting ways with Tammy Abraham and Luka Jovic, Milan currently only have Santiago Gimenez for the No.9 role. In short, a reinforcement is needed before the start of the season, and this is something the Rossoneri are well aware of.

Quite a few names have been linked with the club in recent weeks, but the main target appears to be Vlahovic. The Juventus striker has one year left on his contract and due to the hefty salary, the Bianconeri are keen on parting ways with him this summer.
Milan have an offer ready
According to today’s edition of La Repubblica, as cited by MilanNews, Milan already have an offer in mind for the Serbian: €18-20m to Juventus. Then it’s possible that Vlahovic could get a severance package from the Bianconeri for the salary missed out on.
While this is a solution that would satisfy all parties, Milan could also decide to delay their pursuit in order to get even better terms. Juventus want to avoid this at all costs and as a result, a meeting has been scheduled with Vlahovic’s agent in the coming days.
In addition to reaching an agreement with Juventus, it’s clear that Milan would also have to do some negotiating with Vlahovic as his current salary of €12m per season is way too high.

Absolutely, people can say what they want and that is ok but if we can negotiate a good deal for him while he drops his salary demands to maybe 6-7 mil he will be one of the absolutely best opportunities we will be able to attain in my view. The guy is 25 and even if he hasn’t scored 25 goals pr. season he certainly has the possibility of doing so in the right environment. Whether Milan is that time will tell but I could definitely see him do very well for us.
Yeah remember Retegui, Darwin Nunez, and Hojlund are also having some difficult moment then they go strong again. If Vlahovic can cut his **** off. It could be a steal signing.
Even if I’m wearing a bit colored glasses here as I’m a Dane I wouldn’t mind Højlund either even if he hasn’t been too great either for utd. or Denmark in the last year he still has great margins to improve but lets get real here utd. is also cesspool for players bound to fail. Whether he would be interested might be a different matter as he has been a utd. fan since he was a kid but I certainly wouldn’t mind such deal either. I gotta say Retegui kinda dissapointed me for going to Saudi Arabia. Nunez well he will most likely be beyond our reach and I would have my doubts in regard of him but who know he might still do great for us.
Sure he would need to man up but I do believe getting Vlahovic now is an ideal time as he probably wants to rejuvenate his career as he hasn’t really reached his full potential yet.
Hojland loan with option would be a worthwhile punt. He was cr@p at United but they are a shocking side, its hard to stand out there.
Hes not a killer in front of goal but has other decent physical attributes. Loan would mean if he shows nothing promising we just dont take up the option. And its widely known United want to offload him so could be open to this structure of transfer.

Hojlund is a better prospect than Vlahovic because he doesn’t come with the primary donna attitude.
Vlahovic works a bit, then patches a fit when something doesn’t go his way.
Hojlund holds up then turns and runs. When someone makes a mistake he runs to cover instead of stopping and moaning.
Hojlund looks like a Salad type player.

If we manage to sign Jashari, Doue and Vlahovic on top of Modric, Ricci and Estupinan this will be a 5 star transferwindow by Tare if you look at the conditions: Little money due to no european football, and not able to lure better players to come with the promise of champions league football.

The transfer fee won’t be this issue, it’s his salary (would be one of the highest paid players at Milan) and his output. He doesn’t score much (only had 6 goals from open play last season in the league), has attitude problems and does pick up injuries every year. His first touch is not good either, I’m convinced people have not seen him play. Also, he doesn’t like to run, he said so himself. Last, we are giving Juve money that they desperately need to further strengthen their squad.
His contract issues with Juve are giving me goosebumps. Also, he’s not giving good value for what he is earning. Even if he lowers his financial demands now, we may still face these issues later. I like him, though, but, I have my doubts. Hojlund, is my preferred choice. He didn’t get much goals last season, but, his finishing were superb with the ones he got. Also, he’s cool-headed.

Vlahovic is a good player. If he can rediscover his Fiorentina days we’ve signed a quality CF. His 25 so plenty of good years left. For the price and 6-7m salary we could be doing worse. If this deal fails, Ramos from PSG is a good alternative.
This is a little bit of gamble but a good one imo if these numbers play out. Because of his age even if he continues his form he has in Juve we should he able to offload him to Saudi league and if we get the Vlahovic from Fiorentina days it’s a huge win.

I don’t get why we’d offer anywhere close to that. If they’re so desperate to get rid of him, this is the one scenario where I’d like to see us completely low-ball them. Heck, tell him any money saved under 15M he can have as a signing bonus, just so long as Juventus don’t see it.

Not the end of the world if they do IMO, it might be considered a ‘discount’ but it’s not really, it’s a “willing to take less fee so that money can go to the player to leave” approach. It’s Juve trying to wriggle out of their commitments.
