Repubblica: Milan want to sign €70m duo before window ends – Chiesa remains a dream

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have two signings which they wish to complete between now and the end of the window plus one they consider a ‘dream’, a report claims.

The Rossoneri have already secured the renewal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and welcomed Ante Rebic on a permanent deal, while Brahim Diaz, Sandro Tonali and Ciprian Tatarusanu have also joined.

However, directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are still working hard to strengthen Stefano Pioli’s squad by adding the finishes touches in a couple of departments.

According to La Repubblica on Thursday (via MilanNews), Milan’s attention is divided between the field and the market. While the team are focused on tonight’s match in Dublin against Shamrock Rovers, the management are looking for market opportunities.

The paper adds that Milan will have to make signings both in central midfield and at centre-back, with Chelsea’s Tiemoue Bakayoko (apparently valued at €30m by the Blues) and Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic (€40m) the targets.

Both players have a high cost but the Rossoneri are looking at convenient formulas and are in no hurry. In the background, there is the dream of Federico Chiesa who also has a high asking price.
