Repubblica: Rangnick very close to signing with Milan as salary details emerge

By Oliver Fisher -

Ralf Rangnick is ‘very close’ to signing a contract to become the new manager of AC Milan, according to a report.

So far there has always been talk of the double role he would play, and we reported via our correspondent Vito Angele last Thursday evening that Rangnick will indeed agree a role as manager – that is the double responsibility of head coach and the man in charge of the transfer market.

According to Wednesday’s edition of La Repubblica (via Calciomercato.com), Rangnick is now ‘very close’ to signing his deal with Milan, despite the fact his most recent statements about his role have not been particularly welcome by Elliott.

In order to convince him to sign, the Rossoneri have a contract of €5-6million per season ready, while the same outlet also recently stated that Rangnick has made five key demands before he will accept a role at Milan, including up to 20 new staff.
