Romano: Hauge keen on Milan transfer – the secret competitor and Haaland’s advice

By Isak Möller -

Jens Petter Hauge is seemingly getting closer to Milan, just a few days after he faced them as an opponent. After we broke the story yesterday morning, several other sources are not also reporting that the Rossoneri are serious.

According to Fabrizio Romano in his latest piece for Calciomercato.com, the contacts between the parties are frequent and serious. There are few obstacles as the real secret competitor were Atalanta, who now are focusing on other targets.

The player, furthermore, has no doubts and is waiting for the go-ahead which could arrive next week. Milan took a liking to Hauge immediately, and the feeling was mutual, so now they are approaching each other in a concrete way.

Erling Haaland has publicly recommended him as a talent for the future and Milan are now closing in on the signing, per the report. The winger expects the move more than any other destination and it could thus be closed quickly.
