Romano: Milan beat Sporting CP to Skoczylas as Polish talent signs deal

Despite the doubts that had emerged over the past couple of days, AC Milan have secured the signing of midfield talent Mateusz Skoczylas.

Fabrizio Romano first broke the news about the 16-year-old attacking midfielder, stating that Milan had reached an agreement with the player, but then there were suggestions that a final decision hadn’t been made.

Polish journalist Tomasz Włodarczyk stated that the player had undergone his medical in Milan but that he was still evaluating his future along with his family because Sporting CP were also in the running.

According to the latest from Fabrizio Romano, the Polish talent Skoczylas has just signed as new Milan player, joining from Zaglębie Lubin.

He cerainly looks like a promising player (you can check out his highlights here) and Milan have won the race to land him against a team that are renowned for signing and developing young talent, which is a positive step.

  1. I only see him from highlights, but he looks promising. He has vision, speed, passing and finishing touch. Such a complete CAM. Any thoughts?

  2. This will be a good signing once Pioli leaves. I hope next summer the plan is to spend a little and bring through the Primavera talents.
