The arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic isn’t enough for AC Milan. Boban and Maldini continue to probe the market for good opportunities, as the squad is in dire need of reinforcements and above all some new energy.
Monday’s clash against Sampdoria certainly highlighted the main issue: the strikers aren’t getting enough support. In the grand scheme of things, Ibrahimovic’s presence didn’t do much in that aspect, as the winger continued to miss crosses on crucial occasions.
However, although new life on the wing is needed, that doesn’t stop the Rossoneri management from looking at more strikers. As reported by Radio Rossonera’s Pietro Balzano Prota, they have initiated contacts with Gianluca Scamacca’s entourage.
The 21-year-old is currently on loan at Ascoli from Sassuolo, bagging 10 goals in 17 appearances this season. Furthermore, he has been impressive with Italy’s U21 side as of late. Per the report, the player would absolutely welcome a move to Milan.
