Six Milan players at risk of suspension and could miss game against Sassuolo

By Isak Möller -

Milan will have to deal with the suspension of Zlatan Ibrahimovic tomorrow as they will take on Genoa at San Siro, forced to field Rafael Leao up front. There are a few players that need to be careful, with a ban close.

As highlighted by MilanNews, a total of five Rossoneri players could be forced to withdraw from the game against Sassuolo on Wednesday: Hakan Calhanoglu, Samu Castillejo, Diogo Dalot, Ante Rebic, Alexis Saelemaekers and Theo Hernandez.

All of them are currently on four yellow cards, apart from Hernandez who is at 9, and as we all know five consecutive yellow cards result in a one-game ban. The game against Sassuolo will be tough, but they will take on Lazio in the round after.

Therefore, there might be some tactics involved tomorrow as Milan want their strongest players available for the toughest games. Either way, the players in question will have to be careful tomorrow.
