Sky: Bonaventura tested in training ahead of Brescia clash

By Isak Möller -

Ahead of the clash with Brescia on Saturday evening, Peppe Di Stefano of Sky Italia has provided us with some important updates on the team (as cited by MilanNews.it).

The Italian journalist claims that Giacomo Bonaventura, who recently returned from a serious injury, was tested in the attacking trio as the left-winger during’s today’s training session.

However, as Di Stefano adds, this is more to test the Italian midfielder’s condition. During tomorrow’s training, Calhanoglu is expected to play in that position, with Paqueta taking a spot in the midfield as usual.

During pre-season, the midfielder showed glimpses of brilliance, which is what the Rossoneri need. Against Udinese, Giampaolo’s men didn’t create anything up front, which resulted in a disappointing 1-0 loss.

Hopefully, we will see a different team on Saturday. The Rossoneri are expected to use the 4-3-3 formation as opposed to the 4-3-1-2 which was used in the opener, per Di Stefano.
