Several AC Milan players were present at Milanello on Monday despite head coach Stefano Pioli granting them a day of rest.
The Rossoneri have been plagued by somewhat of an injury bug recently with a number of key players having been struck by various physical problems as we head towards the business end of the season.
According to Sky Italia (as cited by MilanNews), five players were at the club’s training centre this afternoon undergo treatments, massages and therapies to recover from injuries and ailments following the trip to Florence.
Samu Castillejo had a massage session after suffering some adductor discomfort, while Theo Hernandez also had a rehabilitation massage session.
Gianluigi Donnarumma went through some work on his sprained ankle, an injury which is not meant to be serious, while Simon Kjaer and Lucas Biglia did personalised work as they continue to recover from their respective muscle injuries.
In addition to Leo Duarte who is recovering from surgery on his achilles tendon, Rade Krunic he will be out for another two weeks following the stress fracture he sustained in the metatarsal bone of his right foot.
