Sky: Hernandez ready for Torino clash as he resumes training at Milanello

By Isak Möller -

Theo Hernandez has tested negative for Covid-19, as was announced this morning, and he will thus be available for the game against Torino on Tuesday. In fact, he was back at Milanello already today.

As we have seen before, Covid-19 can drastically worsen the condition of a player. However, Hernandez is fully vaccinated and it seems he hasn’t been too affected by the virus, which is indeed great news.

According to Sky Italia, as cited by MilanNews, the Frenchman worked in the gym at Milanello this morning. He’s in good shape and will be available for the game on Tuesday, which is a huge boost for Milan.

Hernandez was lightly affected by the virus, per the report, and also followed an individual training program during the days he couldn’t go to Milanello. It sounds like he could even start on Tuesday, therefore, but we will have to wait and see on that.

  1. SO he was vaccinated and still got the virus? How about other ACM players who earlier got covid? Have they been vaccinated too or not? It seems to me that almost all ACM players got covid so far, but no one got it two times – which means that they build real immunity only after getting infected, not after getting vaccinated.

    1. Most of the players that had tested positive prior to Theo hadn’t been fully vaccinated yet. But it’s not for us to say, since we’re no experts in the area.
