Sky: Ibrahimovic aiming to be back for Milan vs. Roma clash – the latest

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has returned to training after disposing of the injury he sustained during the international break with Sweden. And the AC Milan forward appears to have a comeback game in mind already.

The 41-year-old has been recovering from a thigh problem in the last three weeks or so, missing seven games in the process. As reported by Sky Italia (via SempreMilan.it), he was back in full training with the group during today’s session at Milanello.

He could perhaps be called up for the game against Lecce on Sunday, but it’s unlikely that we will see him on the pitch at all. The goal, instead, seems to be the big clash in the top-four race against Roma next weekend.

Ante Rebic and Divock Origi, the other deputies for Olivier Giroud, have really struggled this season and it remains to be seen if Ibrahimovic can do any better. It’s clear, however, that Milan will need to sign a striker in the summer.
