Sky: Ibrahimovic congratulated the team on the pitch after Udinese-Milan

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was present at Stadio Friuli for AC Milan’s clash against Udinese last night. He witnessed the Rossoneri coming back from 2-1 behind to win 3-2, with Noah Okafor scoring the winner in the 93rd minute.

Ibrahimovic has been very present since Milan and RedBird announced his return to the club. Yesterday, he attended the game along with the Milan directors Geoffrey Moncada and Antonio D’Ottavio, watching on from the stands.

As reported by Sky Italia (via MilanNews), Ibrahimovic entered the pitch after the final whistle to congratulate the players on the comeback. In particular, he spoke to Mike Maignan who suffered racial abuse from the Udinese supporters during the game.

With all of his experience and knowledge, not to mention hos connection with Milan, Ibrahimovic’s return has indeed been an important one. There were initially doubts about his role but it’s now clear that he’s present to motivate the team, making sure they have everything they need.

Milan are currently on a four-game winning streak in the league and will be looking to make it five next week, taking on Bologna at San Siro. Third place has indeed been cemented by the Rossoneri, but the question is if they can go even further than that.
