Sky: The latest on Rebic, Origi, Brahim Diaz and De Ketelaere in view of the summer

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan cannot only focus on signings this summer as they must also make some sales to free up funds and places in the squad.

As reported by Sky (via PianetaMilan), the Rossoneri management do not consider Divock Origi and Ante Rebic part of the project moving forward and at the moment it seems likely they will both leave in the summer.

As for Brahim Diaz, Milan want to sign him permanently from Real Madrid but they would not be willing to spend more than €20m in order to sign him after three years on loan in Serie A.

On Charles De Ketelaere, Paolo Maldini believes in the Belgian more than anyone and wants to give him another chance, also because the contract that binds him to the club is for five years. In any case, if he were to leave it would only be on a permanent basis and not on loan.

  1. It’s all very well to say Rebic and Origi aren’t part of the project but they’re on big wages and out of form, so finding anyone willing to pay for them is going to be difficult in the current environment

    1. Because they believed so much for them at the first sight just like they believe in RLC rn. But let’s see if he rlc is any better than existing player

  2. Spalletti leaving Napoli is a good news. Maybe he planning to join Milan. I hope so. We need one new head coach. I can’t forget last debacles against Inter.

  3. If you believe in CDK then don’t sign players to crowd him out.

If we sign Kamada then that’s it. Him and CDK must compete for one position with CDK also being given games upfront to give him maximum playing time.

Sell Adli and don’t sign Brahim.

We need a squad of 23 with a core of 16-17. Use utility players like Kalulu and Krunic to cover across positions and reduce rotation.

    1. Agree. Diaz was a silly mistake. It held up CDK and Adil for 1 year. Net loss to Milan! Next year got to be Kamada + CdK/Adil. A loanee must never be made 1st 11 especially if Milan doesn’t have a full buy out clause

      1. I totally agree with the fact that players gotten from loan should only be as substitute, thereby given our permanent players enough playing time to build up. Adli is a good player but because of lack of playing time, his talent is going down. Origi should be sold.
