There is yet more injury concern for Stefano Pioli to deal with as Rafael Leao looks set to miss Tuesday’s cup game against Torino.
There was a slight sour note from Milan’s 2-0 win over Torino as Stefano Pioli potentially has more injuries to deal with. Sandro Tonali and Brahim Diaz both came off in the second half, with the former having been injured in an incident which bizarrely saw a penalty awarded for Torino before being overturned.
According to Sky (via MilanNews), both suffered heavy bruising in their respective incidents, but now there is problem in the big toe of the foot for Rafael Leao.
The forward will grit his teeth to try to be available for Tuesday’s Round of 16 game at San Siro, scheduled for Tuesday evening, but Tonali is not expected to recover in time while Brahim Diaz could play a part, even if his ankle is still swollen.
To some people it may sound like blasphemy; but, isn’t Leao as important as Ibra ?
Yes he is
