Sky: Milan are in ‘direct contact’ with Chelsea and Real Madrid over six players

By Isak Möller -

Milan have been working hard on the transfer market thus far, signing Mike Maignan and Fikayo Tomori, and there is more to come from them. They are currently in talks with Chelsea and Real Madrid, a report claims.

The priority for the Rossoneri seems to be the attack, as Zlatan Ibrahimovic won’t be able to play every game next season. In addition, Hakan Calhanoglu decided not to renew and has left for Inter, the city rivals.

Therefore, some reinforcements will be needed in that department. There are also other areas that need strenghtning, of course, and Paolo Maldini – as well as Ricky Massara – is on top of the situation.

Speaking on TMW Radio, as cited by MilanNews, Sky Italia journalist Luca Marchetti shared some updates on Milan’s strategy for this summer mercato. He confirmed that they are in talks with Chelsea and Real Madrid over a whopping six players.

“Milan have not changed their strategy. There is direct contact with Chelsea for Giroud, Bakayoko and Ziyech; three players who can arrive on different formulas. The same goes for Real Madrid with Odriozola, Jovic and Brahim Diaz,” he stated.
