Sergio Conceicao is expected to make one change to AC Milan’s starting eleven for the game against Lazio, according to a report. As many fans have been crying out for, Joao Felix will thus start on the bench.
Milan need a reaction after the defeats against Torino and Bologna, which more or less put an end to their top-four hopes. They are not even certain of Europa League football at the moment, so they will need to start with a win tomorrow.
According to Sky Italia, Conceicao will make one change to the XI by bringing in Christian Pulisic for Joao Felix. This also means that Yunus Musah will move to the midfield tandem, while Tijjani Reijnders will take the step up for the No.10 role.
Predicted Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Jimenez, Thiaw, Pavlovic, Theo Hernandez; Fofana, Musah; Pulisic, Reijnders, Leao; Gimenez
Conceicao confirmed that he was ready to start Pulisic against Bologna as well, but that the team doctors stopped him on the day of the clash. The American is seemingly better now and that’s certainly good news for Milan, given his importance to the team.
Curva Sud, the Milan ultras, have announced that they won’t be present inside the stadium for the first 15 minutes of the game. A clear message was certainly sent to Gerry Cardinale with the statement, published earlier this evening.

No Joao = Good lineup.
On the side note, if Juventus wins their next game vs Verona, they’d be only 6 points from 1st place.
They were only a few points ahead of Milan just a couple of weeks ago, with Milan having a game in hand and now they can fight for the scudetto with 11 games left into the season.
These last few weeks totally ruined Milan season.
In the summer Milan hired the coach that none of us wanted, but management bigger mistake was firing that coach mid-season instead of giving him the support and time to finish.
I said many times that Napoli ruined their season last year by firing Rudi Garcia while they were 4th, qualified for the knockout stages of the UCL, and still in Copa Italia. They finished 10th after his firing.
The same is happening at Milan this season.
I think if Milan win coppa and that guarantee Europa league? I am not sure, Milan is in super position. They will get some small fee like 20 million like Lazio and more important – coefficient. Money they can find by sale of flops, and some loaned players, and they can focus on serie a only.
If players doesn’t have motivation to play domestic league then you don’t need a club.

Napoli was 4th but Milan was 8th after 17 serie A games under Fonseca. De Laurentiis fired Garcia in november 2023 after a grand total of 16 games while we were clearly more patient.
Finishing 7th or 17th is all the same, so might as well switch from a coach that was clearly not working. But unfortunetaly Conceição is working even less and actually managed to make Fonseca look somewhat good, which is quite the achievement.
No Felix is a winner already
João Félix só never play unless he is replacing Leao or Reinjders as a late sub.
But our midfield pivot should always be Musah and Fofana even though I believe Bondo is better defensively than Fofana who needs to be benched when Bondo is fit.
With a fit Bondo our double pivot should be Musah and Bondo supporting Reinjders. They provide more defensive coverage and support to the wingers and wing backs.
We haven’t even seen Bondo play and don’t k ow what he really offers.
Lol, Zion is on planet Zen.
I think the formation is incorrect. It’s a 4-0-3-1
Remember we don’t have a midfield
😂😂😂😂
What a sensible fcuking lineup. Unbelievable. Did Sergio come up with this?
This is amazing work and brainstorming. I can’t believe my eyes when I see this lineup.
I have been waiting to see Gimenez play in front of the stable trio of Leao/Rjeinders/Pulisic. This could be good. Unfortunately Musah will be on the field. He lacks game intelligence and is a liability. But, we’ll see.
Okay so the lineup makes sense but I assert we will still play poorly.
These guys have not played together enough while our competition has dialed in to a pattern of play with a consistent set of players.
We have failed to show up with a discernable plan with the exception of dump-and-chase last game.
So IMO our starters will look lost and frustrated. They will pull shirts and push (I suppose this is a pattern of play at this point)
Sarge will look intense on his cooler and make some subs, but they will fall into the same pattern.
Please prove me wrong tomorrow. Forza Milan.
Conceicao will put the subs faces on water bottles and when he needs to sub he’ll crack the cooler open, peak inside and whoever’s bottle rise up through the icy water will get the call. It’s his own private magic 8 ball.
Brilliant
I need to start earning my coaching badges.
Milan simply can’t learn. Clearly 4-2-3-1 not working. Change the formation to 3-4-3 or 3-4-2-1, better stability…less exhausting.
If they have to play 4-2-3-1 use terra/Bondo beside Fofana. Put sottil- tiji- puli front with santi or Abraham. Issue will be the right back, Jimenez can’t play.
Agreed…what is Mr. Sergio think about???
Use the same formation again, with the same players too. But expect different result.
Mr. Sergio is already hit his ceiling I thought.
I have been supporting Milan since 1994.. stop playing Joao Felix..terminate is loan immediately.. Milan play more better when they sub him..He add anything to the attack…. running around like a waste…If I see him next match.. I will stop watching Milan for the rest of the season..play Yunus Musah on the midfield and push Tijjani Reijnders.. play Christian Pulisic on the left .. The coach need to be calm with the player.. you are too hard.. I want him to stay.if you play Felix again..than you need to be sack.watch all last 5 matches with him… nothing to talk about him.. please am on my kneels.don’t play him anymore.. We are playing 10 against 11.. take him off.Felix is our main problem right now..
You are right and Reijnder played better football when Joa Felix is not playing

I want Acmilan coach to use bondo an musah together an drop leao for sottit
Just watch Felix will start again
Last time prediction for Torino and Bologna also doesn’t have Felix in the starting lineup. But then boom! Conceicau started him.
I smell another defeat but this time Lazio gonna slaughter us. The players mental at the lowest and their trust / respect for Conceicau are completely gone.
same team again and will be same outcome, we have no identity, just a bunch of random imports running around the pitch, Jimenez was terrible last time and plays again ? Thiaw has had several poor performaces and plays again, Theo and Leao are just lazy and not bothered, Fofana and Musah are just plain bad. These are sad times to be a Milanista, a team with no identity, no passion, no talent and no direction. Yet again not a single italian in the team, Gabbia makes 1 error and is banished forever, Terra is never even given a chance, Sottil plays well as a sub and then forgotten, Bartesaghi again replaces Theo, plays well and then forgotten, even when Theo costs us the champions league. Camarda, never given a chance, Liberali fogotten…..would rather see any of these play over the bunch of overpaid imported prima donnas we have
I saw some reports that Kyle Walker is ready to return. Hope so, we miss his presence
Jimenez needs to do better
This Milan coach is as useless and clueless as his predecessor Fonseca, if not how will a in his right senses keep using the same squad and tactics that keeps chunning out negative and below average performances week after week, what a shame
Einstein – Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results..
Einstein never said that.
Jimenez was a disaster as right back against Bologna. I miss Kalulu
