Sky: Milan eye €15m move for Tottenham man to solve right-back issue

By Isak Möller -

It’s no secret that AC Milan are looking to bring in some reinforcements ahead of next season, wanting to build on the successful spell since the restart. Among other things, they want a new right-back.

Davide Calabria and Andrea Conti have failed to meet expectations this season and one of them will be sold in September, as reported by Sky Italia (via MilanNews.it). As a replacement, the Rossoneri have set their sights on Serge Aurier.

The Tottenham full-back has a price tag of €12-15m and has been identified by the Rossoneri management as a good addition. This season, the Ivorian international has made 33 appearances for Spurs in the league, bagging one goal in the process.

It remains to be seen who Milan will sign this September. Gazzetta Dello Sport reported (via MilanLive.it) this morning that they are keeping tabs on Emerson of Barcelona and Denzel Dumfries of PSV Eindhoven as well.

  1. What a load of bollocks. Aurier would cost any team wanting to buy him at least 25 million euros. Also, he’s a bit to young for an Italian team. I thought they only bought players who are over 32/33.

  2. Please please plaese take him. He`s not even good enough for the championship. I hate watching him everytime we play. He cant defend..cant cross..gives away too many free kicks and is a liabaility in the penalty area. He is stealing a living as a premiership footballer. I would prefer to play with ten men.
