Sky: Milan have authorised Rangnick’s transfer budget – how much he can spend

By Isak Möller -

Ralf Rangnick is all but confirmed to join AC Milan at the end of this season, ready to replace Stefano Pioli at the helm of the club. For the Rossoneri, it will be a new era focused on youth and specific ideas.

However, the German manager will have to make use of his position as manager and technical director, given that the squad might need some reinforcements. According to Sky Italia, as cited by MilanNews.it, the transfer budget has been decided.

Milan have authorised a budget of €75m for the summer transfer window, which has been postponed until September due to the Coronavirus crisis. This, most likely, is excluding any money made from potential sales during the window.

It remains to be seen what changes Rangnick will make to the squad, though we can expect a fair amount of them given the size and importance of the project. The new revolution is underway and hopefully, this one will pay off.

  1. We have a good young team in place, and must not sell many players! Tonali, Szobozslai, Rodriguez and Milenkovic must be our major target”s, and also sell Calabria, and maybe Pagueta and Castilleho in order to fund our main target”s! Malang Sarr from Nice should also be our priority target, cause he can be signed in a free transfer, and so he would cover Theo at left back, and sometimes even Romagnoli, when he is injured or otherwise tired!
