According to Sky Italia (via MilanNews), Milan are keeping tabs on two youngsters as last-minute options for the defence: Maxime Esteve of Montpellier and Malick Thiaw of Schalke, aged 19 and 20 respectively.
The latter has a price tag of €8-10m, per the report, and Liverpool are also interested in him. This could push Milan to make a move for Esteve, but no price tag was mentioned. There are still some days left but time is indeed running out.
