After the comfortable 4-0 win against Spezia, Milan are gearing up to ake on Spezia away from home. As the derby against Inter is scheduled for next weekend, it’s an important game for the Rossoneri.
As reported by Sky Italia (see photo below), Stefano Pioli is expected to make a few changes to the starting XI. Ismael Bennacer, Simon Kjaer and Sandro Tonali, who all missed out last week, are all in the squad this time out.
Kjaer will replace Fikayo Tomori at the back, slotting in alongside team captain Alessio Romagnoli. And as Davide Calabria is suspended, Man Utd loanee Diogo Dalot will step in on the right, meaning there will be two changes to the back-four.
In the midfield, Franck Kessie will get some help from his usual partner Ismael Bennacer, who has recovered from bronchitis. It’s been a while since the two played together from start, so it sure will be exciting to see them in action again.
Interestingly enough, Ante Rebic will be on the bench despite his brace against Crotone. Rafael Leao will start on the left and Hakan Calhanoglu will be back in the middle, with Alexis Saelemaekers in pole for the right-wing.

Rebic needs game time. He should start but it seems we have a tight fixture schedule up ahead so shouldn’t be a problem
