Sky: No further talks with Raiola over Ibrahimovic but Milan remain confident

By Oliver Fisher -

There is no further meeting booked in between AC Milan and Mino Raiola over Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a report claims, but the Rossoneri are still confident.

With Milan in dire need of firepower, leadership and experience in January, directors Paolo Maldini and Zvonomir Boban have made the Swede their main target for the January transfer window.

A number of journalist claimed on Thursday that Milan are upping the ante once again and that bonuses could seal the deal, while Ibrahimovic himself has seemingly declared that he is open to a return.

Tuttosport (via MilanNews.it) suggested that  Zlatan could even land in Milano on Friday with agent Mino Raiola to discuss a potential return further.

Ten days ago, the two parties sat down for 160 minutes in a well-known hotel in the city centre with Boban, Maldini and Massara leading the offensive.

However, according to the latest from Sky Italia – as cited by MilanNews.it – there have been no contacts in the last few days between Raiola and Milan over more meetings.

Despite this, the report adds that Milan still firmly believe in the possibility that the matter can be successfully concluded.
