It’s Sandro Tonali day. The midfielder will sign his contract with Milan later this evening and the Rossoneri are expected to announce it all by then. Meanwhile, he needs to complete the medical tests.
As reported by Sky Italia (via MilanNews.it), Tonali has completed the first part and has breakfast afterwards. He also had some time to talk to his new manager, Stefano Pioli, who most likely is thrilled to have the promising talent in his squad.
The midfieder has now started the second part of the medical and once that is done, he will return to the hotel. Milan will face Vicenza in a pre-season friendly this afternoon, mores specifically at 17:00, and Tonali’s signing will thus take place after.
The Rossoneri will also take on Brescia in a friendly game on Sunday, after the clash with Chievo was cancelled, and for Tonali it will be a ‘derby of his heart’. It remains to be seen if he will play from start.
