After yet another misstep in the league, this time at home against Sampdoria, AC Milan return to the transfer market with their eyes on Spain. On the radar of the management, there is always Jean-Clair Todibo.
The Rossoneri have reached an economic agreement with the player on the basis of around €1m per year, which could rise if some objectives are achieved. However, the two clubs are yet to reach an agreement on the operation.
Barcelona would like to include a buy-back clause in the deal, which is something that isn’t accepted by Milan for the time being. Alternatively, the Catalans would like to leave the player on loan for 18 months, thus welcoming him back in the 2021/2022 season.
However, Milan remain firm on their stance: they want the centre-back on loan, with the possibility of buying him at the end of the season. According to what has been collected by SempreMilan.com, they have issued an ultimatum.
The Spanish side will have to give a positive or negative response to the Rossoneri within the next 48 hours or so. In other words, the Todibo negotiations are at an advanced stage, to say the least.
