SM: Milan not finished after Rebic; two more names possible

By Vito Angele -

AC Milan could follow up the signing of Ante Rebic from Eintracht Frankfurt by making one more purchase, we have learned.

Reports emerged earlier on Sunday from both Sky Italia (via Di Marzio) and Sky Germany suggesting that the Rossoneri were closing in on a deal for Rebic.

It then emerged that Andre Silva could move the other way, something confirmed by our mercato expert Vito Angele.

Indeed, Angele then told us that the deal for Rebic has been completely closed and that the player will be in Milano in the next few hours.

However, it may be that Milan are not done just yet, with 24 hours left in the transfer window.

Vito Angele has now revealed to us that Paolo Maldini and the rest of the club’s leadership are looking for one more purchase before the mercato closes.

He adds that Angel Correa and Taison are two possible targets for Milan to try and tie up on Monday.

Gianluca Di Marzio did claim earlier on Sunday that a move for Taison of Shakhtar Dontesk remains alive, but that the Brazilian veteran has a €30million release clause.

Meanwhile, La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira revealed on Twitter that the Rossoneri are readying one more assault for Correa.
