Sportitalia: Donnarumma rejects Milan’s latest offer; Juventus consider €30m move

By Oliver Fisher -

Gianluigi Donnarumma has rejected AC Milan’s latest offer of a contract renewal on economic grounds, a report claims.

The Rossoneri’s prized young goalkeeper was linked with an exit throughout the summer but ended up remaining, however the fact that his contract expires in 2021 has led to somewhat of a crossroads.

At the end of last month, Il Corriere dello Sport reported that Juventus are keeping an eye on the situation, but that Donnarumma’s love for the club gives Milan hope they can find an agreement with Mino Raiola.

According to the latest from Sportitalia’s Alfredo Pedulla there have been in-depth talks between Milan and Gigio Donnarumma over his renewal.

The current offer on the table from the Rossoneri is a pay rise of €1m (from €6m to €7m per season), but that has not been accepted and the feeling is that it is increasingly difficult to reach an agreement, even if the situation remains open.

Pedulla adds that Juve should be kept an eye on, as they have always been an admirer of the 20-year-old despite having Szczesny. Donnarumma’s price tag would be around €30-40m.
