Sportmediaset: Two obstacles in Bakayoko talks with Chelsea, Bale’s arrival a mere fantasy

The AC Milan management is at work to complete the squad at Stefano Pioli’s disposal ahead of the start of the new season, with many names in Paolo Maldini’s notebook. However, the priority at the moment seems to be the arrival of Tiemoue Bakayoko.

In this sense, however, there are two problems that need to be resolved. As reported by Sportmediaset (via milannews.it), the first one is related to the buy-out option figure: the Rossoneri made an offer of 3 million for the loan and 30 million as the option to buy the Frenchman outright (with 5 million in bonuses included). However, Chelsea would like the figure to not include bonuses.

The second problem concerns the player’s salary. Bakayoko would like to earn 4.5 million euros in the second season at the San Siro, while in the first season he would be willing to lower his salary to 3 million.

At this moment, there is cautious optimism in the Milan environment about the positive conclusion of the deal, but these two details will have to be sorted out.

Regarding other market operations, in recent days there were some rumours regarding a possible move for Gareth Bale, who is on the verge of leaving Real Madrid. However, once again according to Sportmediaset, Bale represents a fantasy deal and it almost impossible to see him at Milan due to his astronomical salary.
