AC Milan’s new CEO Giorgio Furlani held a meeting with owner Gerry Cardinale in New York to discuss strategy for the coming weeks and months, a report claims.
MilanNews confirm the earlier reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport who stated that Furlani met Cardinale in New York. The meeting helped Furlani to get to the heart of the operational phase of his role, to further familiarise himself with internal procedures and to speak about some of the current hot topics.
One of the issues discussed was the new stadium project which remains an absolute priority for Cardinale and RedBird Capital, while to continued growth of the Rossoneri’s brand was also spoken about, as was the transfer market.
It was a 360-degree excursus that will serve Furlani over the next few weeks where he will be alongside the team, especially for the trip to Saudi Arabia next week for the Supercoppa Italiana clash against Inter.
We absolately want a New Single Acmilqn Owned Stadium.
